⭐️ 1 STAR I would give zero stars if Google allowed it. On July 23, 2026, my husband brought our Yorkie, Lumen, here after calling to explain that she had severe diarrhea and was vomiting. We were told to bring her in. They kept her for a few hours, gave her fluids because she was dehydrated, diagnosed her with colitis, and sent her home with medication. We were told she could be picked up after 1:30 PM. When I got home from work that afternoon, I immediately knew something was seriously wrong with my baby. She was extremely ill. Her body was in shock. She couldn’t drink water. She was disoriented, in obvious distress, and in pain. We spent that night in the hospital with her. Lumen died at approximately 3:45 AM on July 24th. She was only four years old. And instead of celebrating her fifth birthday with her on August 16th, we are now trying to figure out how to live without her. She died less than 24 hours after being seen here. Whatever the ultimate medical cause of her death may be, I will never understand how a dog who was critically ill could be diagnosed with colitis, treated for dehydration, and sent home without the seriousness of her condition being recognized. Lumen was not “just a dog.” She was our family. She was loved beyond words and beyond measure. She was happy, loyal, loving, and one of the most beautiful lights in our home. And now she is gone. I entrusted this facility with my baby because I believed they would recognize when something was seriously wrong and would do everything they could to help her. That trust is gone. I will never bring another one of my pets here. I will never recommend this facility to another pet owner. And if someone I know is considering bringing their beloved animal here, I will tell them exactly what happened to Lumen and strongly encourage them to go somewhere else. Lumen deserved better. My family deserved better.

Dr. Mulvey is an outstanding vet! He is very knowledgeable and always provides very thorough care. The support staff at this clinic is also always exceptional.

There is a vet tech here that: 1) Got none of the Bordetella vaccine in my dogs nose and told me "It doesn't matter". It kind of matters to me though, when it costs $45 and protects my elderly dog from getting a respiratory problem. 2) Does a very poor job of trimming my dog's nails. She just brings the dog back to me an about 3 minutes and tells me there's nothing she can do. And I'm expected to pay $35 for this. I'm going back to Bull Street Vet simply because of this one tech. Bye.
